Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. The actress also worked for as a member of the SSC as producer as well as a costume/set design composer/music director, and text-coach in addition to serving as Artistic Director. Though generally leading from within the group of actors, in her final year she made her debut as director (and lighting designer) with the SSC's King Lear.
